A staff room doesn't have to mean a kettle, a few chairs and somewhere to eat your lunch.
This space was designed as a social hub — somewhere staff can grab a coffee, sit down for lunch, have a conversation, relax away from their desks or get a bit competitive over a game of pool or darts.
The layout was deliberately divided into different zones, giving the room a variety of ways to use it. A café-style booth wall creates a more informal setting for coffee and quick conversations, while the formal dining table provides a dedicated area for eating and larger group gatherings.
A generous modular sofa and coffee table create a more relaxed lounge environment, giving people somewhere comfortable to switch off. The pool and darts areas add another dimension altogether, turning what could have been a functional staff room into a genuinely social space.
The design balances the different use without making the room feel like a collection of separate areas. Consistent materials, colour and detailing tie everything together, while the mix of furniture creates visual interest and gives people a choice in how they use the space.
The result is a staff environment that feels social, comfortable and considered — designed not just for taking a break, but for bringing people together.

This highlights the design presentation ready to be detailed and actioned, I draw on a 1:1 scale and can transfer the model to 2d sections with annotations, measurements and details for builders and installers. If the model is not accurate the whole design crumbles, and the install will be problematic.
